SCHOOL CLOTHING

If you do not have web access, uniform orders can be placed via the office.

School clothing is a matter of parental and pupil choice, but we would ask you to encourage your child to realise that clothes are important and need to be matched to the activity to be undertaken. Please ensure all clothes are named.

There are also times, when for health and safety reasons, certain kinds of clothing are needed:

• P.E. kit – all children need to keep shorts/t-shirt/plimsolls or trainers in school. All equipment should be named and kept in a named bag that can easily hang on a peg. It is necessary for children to change their clothes for P.E. For the sake of comfort and hygiene, they should not expect to wear their normal school clothes, even if these are the same as those described above.
• Swimming kit (juniors only) – swimming costume/trunks and a towel.
• Pair of shoes/trainers/plimsolls to keep in school to change into for indoor wear.
• Jewellery – for safety reasons children should not wear jewellery other than stud earrings. For health and safety reasons, children are required to put a plaster or tape over stud earrings during P.E.
