Y5 and Y6 Residential trip to Houghton.

Year 5 and 6 went to stay in Houghton Chapel.  They had a wonderful time 'messing about by the river' and learning at the same time.  Part of the day was spent exploring the beautiful village finding clues to a quiz.  The evening ended with a delicious fish and chip supper, follwed by a video and cocoa and bed!

KS1 Castles Topic

KS1 have been learning about castles.  They had a very busy day designing and building their own castles.  The children were very pleased with their end products, but some proved to be quite a challenge to take home at the end of the week.  Can you spot some turrets and a drawbridge?
